Privacy Policy

RunsByIP ("we", "us") runs weekly pickup basketball sessions in Los Angeles and lets players RSVP and pay online at runsbyip.com. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you RSVP or join a waitlist we ask for:

• Your name
• Your email address

That's it. We don't ask for your phone number, address, birthday, or any other personal details.

How we use it

• Confirm your spot in a session
• Send you a payment receipt
• Contact you about the session you signed up for (e.g. cancellations or waitlist updates)

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them. Stripe shares the payment status back to us so we can confirm your RSVP.

Where your data lives

Your name and email are stored in our backend hosted by Supabase. Access is restricted to the session organizer.

Cookies & tracking

We don't use advertising cookies, analytics SDKs, or cross-site trackers. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout page to prevent fraud — see Stripe's privacy policy for details.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your name and email from our records at any time. Email us and we'll remove them within a reasonable period.

Children

RunsByIP is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
